Joining Alpha Gamma Rho
As a social-professional fraternity, like-minded brothers share values, classes, and career goals in agriculture, natural resources, and related fields. Alpha Gamma Rho members comprise the absolute best these industries have to offer, and the Fraternity’s enduring legacy of excellence comes from their contributions and world-changing impact. Now is the time to grow this legacy, new members join Alpha Gamma Rho as equals. There are only brothers, for there is real work to do and real good to accomplish.
- For Membership in Alpha Gamma Rho, Alpha Nu the following criteria must be met:
- He shall be a full time student at the University of Connecticut at the chartered Alpha Nu Chapter
- He shall be engaged in the study of agriculture or agricultural related subjects, or have an interest in the field of agriculture.
- He shall be initiated and registered with the Alpha Gamma Rho Home office.
- He shall be not a member of, and not an applicant for membership in, any other social or professional social fraternity.
- If any objection to the initiation of any person is made prior to his initiation, the initiation may nevertheless proceed upon a favorable vote of no less than majority of the Collegiate Members of such Chapter, in accordance with the rules and procedures thereof.
